Learn from the old to know the new
The Japanese have a saying “furuki o manabi te shinashiki o shiru”, which means to “learn from the old to know the new.” As the year comes to a close, it is a perfect time to reflect on the journey of the past twelve months. At Boundless, we have had a year full of growth, challenges, and accomplishments, and it is important to take a step back and appreciate the progress we have made. From branding updates to operational improvements to milestone anniversaries, it has been a year of learning and advancement for all of us at Boundless.
Milestones: Looking Back at the Last Twelve Months
Taking a moment to look back at where we were a year ago and the milestones we have achieved along the way can be truly enlightening. It allows us to acknowledge the progress we have made and the challenges we have overcome. The journey of the past year at Boundless has been marked by dedication, hard work, and a commitment to providing the best experience for our students and members.
New Logo and Branding Roll Out
The year at Boundless began with an exciting new chapter as we unveiled our updated logo and branding. Thanks to the efforts of Senpai Cesarini, our graphics received a fresh look that now enhances our shirts, posters, and grading certificates. The new branding reflects our commitment to growth and modernization while staying true to our core values.
Team Efforts and Appreciation
Throughout the year, our team has been dedicated to bringing exciting events such as tournaments, camps, seminars, and gradings to our community. Our success would not have been possible without the hard work of our team members and helpers. As we approach the holiday season, it is important to show our gratitude and appreciation for their unwavering support and commitment.
Operational Enhancements
Behind the scenes, a myriad of operational improvements has been taking place at Boundless. From new technology implementations like tablets and computers to physical upgrades like barn doors, our goal has been to enhance the overall experience for our students and members. Additionally, ongoing training sessions with our instructors and administrative team have played a crucial role in shaping our operational efficiency.
Boundless Milestones
This year, Boundless proudly celebrated its 15th year anniversary in Canada, a significant achievement that showcases our longstanding commitment to martial arts excellence. Furthermore, we expanded our reach by adopting a third location in Naples, Florida, which boasts a rich 25-year history. These milestones open new doors for learning, growth, and opportunities for our community.
Overcoming Challenges
As with any journey, the past year has presented its fair share of challenges. However, the team at Boundless has embodied the spirit of resilience and perseverance. The theme of “getting knocked down seven times, get up eight” has resonated with us as we tackled obstacles head-on and emerged stronger than before. Every challenge has been a stepping stone towards our collective growth and success.
Training and Development
One of our core focuses has been on continuous training and development for our instructors and administrative staff. By investing in their growth and skill enhancement, we aim to provide top-notch martial arts education and customer service. The efforts put into refining our team’s expertise are reflected in the quality of instruction and support provided to our community.
Looking Ahead: Embracing New Possibilities
As we stand at the threshold of a new year, the learnings and experiences of the past year serve as a foundation for what lies ahead. The journey of growth and transformation at Boundless continues, and we are excited to explore new possibilities, challenges, and achievements in the coming months and years to come.
